Job description

We are seeking an applicant to fulfill the role of Jr. CAD technician to join our growing team.

The new applicant will perform the following duties but not limited to the following list.

-Prepare work orders using Microsoft Excel

- Create 2D CAD drawings using AutoCAD 2026 LT from customer supplied Drawing files, blueprints, sketches and samples

- Create CNC programs for flame cutting and plasma cutting machines

- Prepare invoices with Quickbooks software

- Drafting estimates for customer orders

-Scanning documents including test reports and other files

- Communicate with customer regarding drawings

- Other office related tasks

Other requirements

- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

- Must be able to perform duties accurately and efficiently as required

- Must have his/her own transportation to and from work

- Must be able to work on his/her own without supervision

- Must be able to work in office and shop floor

Must have knowledge of the following software

- AutoCAD LT

- Microsoft Office 365

- Windows 11 Professional

Knowledge of the following will help but not necessary

- Adobe Reader

- Nesting Software (Pronest)

- Quickbooks

- CNC Programing

Start Date

- Immediate

- Work hours 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Monday to Friday.

The applicant must be graduate from College/University with degree/diploma in mechanical engineering technology R&A or mechanical engineering technology D&A or equivalent.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
