IWL Steel Fabricators is a fourth-generation steel shop with roots in the 1950s. Since 2012, IWL Steel has proudly operated as a 100% Indigenous-owned company under the Clearwater River Dene Nation group of companies. We specialize in industrial and commercial steel construction projects across a wide range of sectors, including potash, uranium, and gold mining, as well as healthcare facilities, educational institutions, energy infrastructure, and retail developments. The Role: CAD Detailer

Join our detailing team and take ownership of projects from 3D modeling to CNC programming. You'll see your work move from screen to steel--structural buildings, tanks, chutework, pipe systems--modeled in Tekla Structures and fabricated in-house.

What You'll Do

Create 3D models of structural steel, tanks, chutework, and pipe Produce and review fabrication-ready shop drawings Program CNC code for automated equipment Collaborate with customers, project managers, and shop personnel Help shape the future of our detailing team as we expand

What You Bring

DMET (formerly CAD/CAM) diploma or equivalent experience Familiarity with Tekla Structures (asset, not a dealbreaker) Strong computer skills and mechanically inclined Organized, self-driven, and deadline-conscious Comfortable working solo or in a tight-knit team Problem solver with a sharp eye for detail Willing to learn, adapt, and take on challenges

Pay: $50,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
