Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CAD Designer to join our dynamic design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and 3D models that meet project specifications and industry standards. The CAD Designer will collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure precision and efficiency in all design deliverables.

Duties

Develop detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements Interpret sketches, specifications, and technical data to produce comprehensive design documents Revise and update existing designs based on feedback or changes in project scope Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to optimize designs for functionality and manufacturability Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies Maintain organized digital files of all drawings and models for easy access and version control Assist in preparing presentation materials for client meetings or internal reviews Support the engineering team during prototype development and testing phases as needed

Experience

Proven experience as a CAD Designer or similar role within an engineering, architecture, or manufacturing environment Proficiency in industry-standard CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Revit Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce precise and error-free designs Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation accurately Prior experience working on complex projects with tight deadlines is preferred
