Create 2D/3D CAD drawings and models for castings, tooling, fixtures, and production components.
Develop and update manufacturing process sheets (methods) for new and existing castings.
Work closely with production, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure manufacturability of designs.
Modify drawings based on engineering changes, tooling updates, or customer feedback.
Support pattern design, riser/gating design (if applicable), and basic foundry method development.
Manufacturing / Process Responsibilities
Analyze production workflow to improve efficiency, quality, and material usage.
Assist in developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for new equipment and processes.
Coordinate with suppliers for tooling, machining, and production-related components.
Optimize machining operations for tensile samples, fixtures, and small CNC-milled components.
Provide technical support to address production issues and suggest corrective actions.

2-5+ years experience in
manufacturing

Strong proficiency in
CAD software
(Inventor, SolidWorks).
Understanding of machining processes, CNC programming basics, GD&T, tolerances.
Experience with process planning, method sheets, or manufacturing documentation.
Familiarity with foundry processes.

Problem-solving skills in production or engineering issues.
Strong communication and documentation abilities.
