Type of position

ADW is seeking a Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Automation Software Developer for a Full-time role in Aurora, ON.

Responsibilities

Develop, modify, and maintain code to automate SolidWorks design software. Collaborate with project stakeholders and translate requirements into effective automation solutions for unique problems. Debug and troubleshoot automation tools. Test and validate automation software against design requirements. Maintain source control, revision control, and documentation. Work closely with teammates to develop solutions in parallel.

Skills

Comfortable working at the intersection of mechanical design and software development. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to quickly learn new systems. Strong collaboration skills with the ability to also work independently. Proven ability to meet project timelines.

Qualifications

Strong programming experience in

C#.NET (required); VB.NET, VBA (preferred)

. Experience with SolidWorks API is a plus. Experience with CAD software, SolidWorks preferred, is a plus. Experience with Python is a plus.

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
