We are actively seeking experienced and dependable

Fiber Drop Installers

to join our team as

independent contractors

. In this role, you will be responsible for running aerial and underground fiber drops from the network tap (pole or pedestal) to customer premises for residential and small business customers.

Scope of Work

Install fiber drops (aerial and/or underground) from utility poles or pedestals to homes or businesses. Perform fiber terminations at ONTs, NIDs, or wall plates as needed. Ensure clean, professional, and code-compliant installations. Conduct light testing to confirm service integrity. Complete required paperwork, digital photos, and job reporting via mobile apps or provided software. Maintain clear and timely communication with dispatch and project managers.

Requirements

Must have experience with fiber drop installation (aerial and/or underground). Must provide your own: Truck or van Tools and safety gear Smartphone or tablet for job tracking Valid driver's license and proof of insurance. Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions. Strong work ethic, professionalism, and attention to detail. Must be able to pass background check and/or drug test (if required by client).

Preferred But Not Required

Knowledge of local utility pole attachment standards and permitting
