Xanadu Homes is looking for cabinet installer(s) to join our team!

We are looking for self-motivated individuals that have proactive problem solving skills and a customer first approach to completing tasks. The ideal candidate will be able to read blueprints and follow them to build and install custom cabinetry pieces. They will have working knowledge of current cabinetry best practices and pride in putting out high end custom work.

Responsibilities

Install custom cabinets including but not limited to boxes, LED lighting, crown, valance, large gables & decorative panels, furniture base, toe kick, decorative handless and custom inserts. Must be able to scribe panels & fillers and cope crown with consistency and ease. Must be able to read design and architectural drawings (plans, elevations, renderings, etc.). Assist with cabinet loading & delivery. Trim or assemble custom cabinets to meet install schedule. Install laminate countertops. Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects up to and greater than 50 lbs. Work with install team, communicating daily regarding progress, service work, scheduling of appointments, etc.

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 2 years of experience with carpentry, build custom cabinetry and/or cabinetry installation. Understand building fundamentals with the ability to execute basic construction knowledge. Must be flexible in day to day tasks and show a willingness to learn and maintain a high standard of quality. Ensure a safe work site is upheld for the safety of all parties involved. Have a valid driver G-License and clean driving record. Strong communication skills. A want to grow and learn to become an expert in your role.
