Self-sufficient, detail-oriented, capable of working independently
Qualifications:
Minimum
3 years of experience
in cabinet and/or finish millwork installation
Proven ability to
work independently
with minimal supervision
Must be able to read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints
Experience with both residential and commercial projects preferred
Cabinet hanging, leveling, scribing, shimming, and hardware installation
Material Knowledge:
Solid wood, plywood, MDF, veneers, and various finishing materials
Finish Work:
Trim installation, crown molding, panelling, and custom built-ins
Safety & Professionalism:
Follow all
WorkSafeBC
rules and site safety regulations
Proper use of PPE (hard hat, safety boots, vest, etc.)
Maintain a safe and organized work environment at all times
Ability to follow site-specific safety policies
Punctual, reliable, and maintains professional conduct on job sites
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to various job sites
Own tools and transportation (preferred for subcontractors)
Physical Requirements:
Able to lift 50+ pounds regularly
Comfortable working on ladders and in various physical positions
Ability to work full-time hours with potential for overtime as needed
