Cabinet Vision Technician, CAD Karhu Fine Cabinetry is an established custom cabinet manufacturer located in Carleton Place, Ontario (West Ottawa Area). After 40-years, Karhu is now in new ownership and is undergoing an exciting transformation with the adoption of new sales and manufacturing technologies aimed at delivering high quality custom cabinets to retail and dealer customers. We\xe2\x80\x99re looking to welcome a new Cabinet Vision technician to our team. Any CAD software experience is great but willingness to learn and grow your skills over time is expected from any successful candidate. Training is provided, and you\xe2\x80\x99ll be expected to self-train as well. Our whole production process relies on the accuracy and timeliness of the work performed in Cabinet Vision. You will be speaking with customers to answer questions about the projects and consulting with your teammates for best practices and improvements that need to be made. We value every team member\xe2\x80\x99s input and participation in the continuous improvement efforts. We are currently seeking a fulltime CAD, Cabinet Vision Technician to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have: Post-secondary education with drafting and/or construction-related experience and/or experience in producing architectural or shop drawings. Experience with Cabinet Vision a definite asset, experience with any cabinet programming software or Sketchup an asset. Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to very different customer construction requirements. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently with minimal oversight. Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple priorities. Very strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in the use of the MS Office Suite.
