The Cabinet Service Technician is responsible for performing on-site service work to address deficiencies, punch-list items, warranty issues, and adjustments related to kitchen and bath cabinetry. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a professional presence with customers and job-site partners.
Key Responsibilities
Travel to job sites to complete service calls related to cabinet deficiencies, adjustments, or repairs
Perform punch-list and warranty work, including cabinet alignment, door and drawer adjustments, hardware replacement, and minor finish touch-ups
Diagnose issues and determine appropriate repair solutions
Communicate professionally with homeowners, builders, and project managers on-site
Document completed work and report unresolved issues to the service or project management team
Maintain tools, materials, and service vehicle in good working order
Follow company quality standards and job-site safety requirements
Qualifications
Experience in cabinetry, finish carpentry, or related trade preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage daily service schedules
Good communication and customer service skills
Valid Class 5 driver's license to operate company vehicle
Ability to lift, carry, and work with cabinetry and tools as required
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of kitchen and bath cabinet installation and hardware
Experience with warranty or service work in residential and/or commercial construction
Basic understanding of jobsite safety practices
