Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Cabinet Painting/spray technician to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the painting/cabinet industry, with a strong preference for those with 5 years plus experience. The Senior Spay technician will lead and coordinate painting projects, ensuring that work is completed to the highest standards and that clients are satisfied with the final product.

Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate Cabinet projects, including planning and execution of Cabinet jobs Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, filling, and priming Apply paint or other finishes to surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment Ensure that work is completed to the highest standards and that clients are satisfied with the final product Communicate with clients to understand their requirements and preferences Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring that they are in good working order and properly maintained Ensure that health and safety regulations are adhered to on all painting projects Train and mentor junior painters on painting techniques and industry standards keeping the shop clean, organized and in order.
Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience in the painting industry, preferred 5 years plus Excellent knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and equipment Ability to understand cabinetry and specifications of hardware, and the use of basic tools. Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team Ability to lead and mentor junior painters Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

8 hour shift Evening shift Monday to Friday Weekend availability
