ANTHILL STUDIO LTD. designs and manufactures furniture, millwork and interior spaces.

POSITION SUMMARY:

We're looking for a skilled Cabinetmaker/Joiner to join our team and help craft bespoke pieces while shaping our evolving product lines. You'll take ideas from sketch to prototype to finished product, working closely with the Anthill team, clients, and collaborators. Our work blends hardware, multifunctionality, and materials like wood, metal, plastics, glass, lighting, and electronics. You'll thrive here if you're passionate about design, obsessed with detail, and enjoy working both independently and as part of a tight-knit crew.

TASKS:

All aspects of production CNC operation Edgebander operation Organizing job specific materials and managing inventory Upholding safety requirements within the workshop Review all drawings and consult with Design Team & CNC Programmer Follow production and installation schedules Perform and manage shop maintenance and organization Assembling & Building products and millwork Installation of finished products and materials

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Red Seal certification or equivalent experience is a requirement High level of proficiency with woodworking machines and hand tools Experience with CNC & Edgebander operation Comfortable with change and working in a fast-paced, dynamic and complex environment Ability to read shop drawings and design plans Excellent organization, documentation and communication skills An acute attention to detail along with an appreciation for details Excellent analytical, decision-making and problem solving skills Cabinetry & Millwork Installation experience is an asset Carpentry experience is an asset BC Drivers Licence is an asset
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
