Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and carpentry, with the ability to create high-quality cabinets and furniture pieces. This role requires attention to detail, creativity, and proficiency in using various hand and power tools. The Cabinet Maker will be responsible for interpreting blueprints and schematics to produce custom cabinetry that meets client specifications.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements Construct cabinets and furniture using various materials, ensuring quality craftsmanship Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, and assembling wood products Perform trim carpentry, frame carpentry, and cabinet installation with precision Execute restoration projects, including water damage restoration and mold remediation as needed Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure seamless project execution Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols Assist in the fabrication of custom pieces according to client specifications

Experience

Proven experience in carpentry or woodworking, with a strong portfolio of completed projects Familiarity with construction estimating and project management processes Knowledge of construction site practices, including safety regulations and best practices Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of construction schematics Experience with various carpentry techniques such as concrete forming, plastering, caulking, stucco application, siding installation, door hanging, fixture installation, flooring installation, tile laying, plumbing, electrical work, masonry, roofing, metal stud framing, CNC operations, assembly processes, and heavy lifting tasks Previous experience in the restoration industry is a plus

Pay: $19.66-$34.36 per hour
