Job Description
Position: Cabinet Maker
We are hiring a Cabinet Maker with 5+ years of experience in Cabinet making and Bench carpentry for our client in Toronto, ON. The ideal candidate will have experience in understanding detailed architectural drawings, schematics, shop drawings and blueprints. This is a full-time permanent role offering an excellent opportunity to work with a renowned international manufacturing company.
Responsibilities:
Apply diverse skills across multiple projects for high-quality clients.
Read and interpret architectural plans, schematics, and blueprints.
Operate woodworking machines: saws, mills, sanders, lathes, routers, planers, and fastening tools.
Ensure products meet industry standards and client specifications, making adjustments as needed.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in cabinet making and bench carpentry.
Strong math skills and the ability to visualize and assemble three-dimensional objects.
Physically fit to stand for long periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift wood pieces up to 60 lbs.
Supervisory experience is a plus.
Proficient in reading and interpreting design drawings and technical manuals.
Positive attitude, team-oriented, and eager to learn new skills.
Detail-oriented and comfortable working in noisy or dusty environments.
