Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Cabinet Maker assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in woodworking and/or cabinetry, with the ability to learn how to create high-quality custom cabinets for residential and commercial projects. This role requires precision, creativity, and a commitment to craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications for cabinets. Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood materials according to project requirements. Perform finishing tasks such as sanding, staining, or painting cabinets to achieve desired aesthetics. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Skills

Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications. Strong carpentry skills with experience in heavy lifting and handling large materials. Knowledge of construction painting techniques and finishing processes. Familiarity with various woodworking tools and machinery used in cabinet making. Ability to work independently or as part of a team while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.00-$22.00 per hour
