Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our woodworking and cabinetry team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting high-quality custom cabinets, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring precise assembly and installation. Candidates with a strong background in carpentry, woodworking, and construction are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings to produce custom cabinetry. Cut, shape, and assemble wood components using hand tools, power tools, machinery, and other equipment. Measure accurately and ensure all components meet specified dimensions and quality standards. Install cabinets securely on-site, ensuring proper fit and finish. Perform finishing tasks such as sanding, staining, painting, or sealing as required. Collaborate with project managers and clients to meet project specifications and deadlines. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Assist with related tasks such as restoration work, flooring installation, tile laying, or other carpentry projects as needed.

Skills

Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating. Experience with woodworking tools including hand tools, power tools, machinery, and rebar installation equipment. Strong knowledge of cabinetry construction techniques along with general carpentry skills. Familiarity with construction painting, masonry, roofing, siding, rebar installation, plumbing, electrical work, and caulking is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during material handling or installation processes. Excellent craftsmanship in assembly and finishing of wood products. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow precise schematics and technical instructions. Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
