We are seeking a

Full-time

reliable candidate with

experience

in the woodworking industry who is looking for a long-term permanent position. If you are someone who values teamwork, has great communication, and is passionate about woodworking, then Willsens could be the workplace for you!

Shift:

7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Monday to Thursday) and 7:00 AM to 12:30 PM (Friday)

Aurora, ON

Position:

Cabinet Maker (Advanced Level)

Responsibilities Include

(Not limited too):

Operating woodworking machinery and using tools to cut, shape and form wood

Use of hand tools, power tools, saws, etc.

Sanding wooden surfaces and applying veneer, stain or polish to finished products

Read/Understand detailed architectural drawings, shop drawings and blue prints

Cleaning duties/Keeping workstation and shop clean

Lifting pieces of wood onto machines/and or working tables

Packaging finished products to ship out for delivery

Always inspecting product to ensure wood isn't warped, cracked or swollen

Sand products using sander or sandpaper

Verify dimensions using a caliper or ruler

Complete all stages of woodworking process

Other general tasks as requested

Qualifications and Experience:

Cabinet making experience is a must for cabinet makers (certified would be an asset)

Millwork background (Asset)

Strong English communication (verbal and written)

High attention to detail

Strong mathematics skills

Must have CSA steel toe boots

Manufacturing experience (asset)

Comfortable standing for long periods of time

Comfortable lifting up to min 50 lbs

Excellent attendance

Must have reliable transportation

Must be able to work approximately 40 hours (over-time may be required during busy periods)

Comfortable working in loud/dusty environments (sawdust)

Excellent attitude

Can work well under pressure to hit deadlines

Displays a high level of leadership and teamwork
