Adaptaspace requires a team member for our construction of control room consoles and millwork. We are looking for someone comfortable building cabinets, countertops, and custom millwork, reading drawings, pressing, machining, edging, staging of completed products, and preparing for shipping.

We work mostly with laminate finishes with some solid surface, thermofoil, and aluminum; with sheet metal assemblies for our main desk structure.

Working hours are 6:30am - 4:00pm Monday to Thursday; 6:30am to 2:45pm on Fridays but every other Friday is taken off. 36 hours for the short week and 44 hours for the longer week.

Ideal Qualities:

4th year apprentice, Journeyman, or equivalent

A focus on safety, quality and efficiency

Problem solving abilities

Familiar with typical machines and hand tools

Capable of lifting 50 lbs.

Apprentice training experience

Good communication skills

Non-Mandatory Additional Skills:

CNC and edge bander experience

Forklift operation

Cutting and drilling steel

Installation of cabinets and furniture

Pay: $29.00-$35.00 per hour
