Job Description

Northmount Industries is a custom cabinet making company. We are looking for someone to perform a split roll of an apprentice cabinetmaker and delivery driver (cube van).

A typical day in this role would be reporting to the shop at 7am in the morning, loading up and delivering cabinets and tools for the team on site possibly then running errands to pick up supplies and materials from our suppliers. After the running around is completed a person in this role would begin helping the cabinet makers either on site or in the shop with installation, cleaning, and/or construction until 4:15pm. This work is be able to go towards apprenticeship in cabinet making.

Duties

- Assist cabinet makers in installation, cleaning, and construction.
- Learn from journeymen cabinet makers.
- Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including cars, vans, trucks, and heavy equipment
- Transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo
- Follow traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe and efficient transportation

Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Commercial driving experience an asset
- Excellent navigation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including heavy lifting

- Ability to be on our driving insurance:

At least 3 years of verifiable claims free Canadian Insurance history No major/criminal convictions No more than 2 minor convictions 25 years old or older.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00-$25.00 per hour
