Creative Innovations is a family run business since 2002. We specialize in custom cabinetry and high end pieces and work with Calgary's top designers. We are a small shop and very busy. This is a great opportunity for someone entering the trade to start learning the skills that are needed to become a proficient cabinet maker.
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker Apprentice to join our team. The ideal candidate will completed their first year schooling and looking to start their career training as cabinet maker. Candidate must be driven, coachable, and have a positive attitude.
Duties
Egebanding Building Boxes and Drawers Packing for shipping Paint prep Errands Various shop jobs as required. Onsite cleaning and delivery as required.
Qualifications
First year schooling required Knowledge of hand tools, and machinery as required Fluent in English Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow precise measurements and specifications. Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds) safely and effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality craftsmanship. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. A passion for woodworking.
Hours Mon- Friday 6:30 am- 3:30 pm ( every second Friday off)
Benefits after 3 months
Must have transportation or be able to reliably be at work on time.
Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship
Pay: $16.00-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
