Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and carpentry, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role involves crafting high-quality cabinets and furniture pieces tailored to client specifications. The Cabinet Maker will work with various materials and tools, ensuring precision and quality in every project.

Responsibilities

Interpret blueprints and schematics to create custom cabinetry designs Construct, assemble, and install cabinets, ensuring accuracy and quality Utilize hand tools, power tools, and CNC machinery for woodworking tasks Perform restoration work on existing cabinetry as needed Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide expert recommendations Conduct construction painting, flooring installation, tile laying, and masonry as required Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols Engage in heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with cabinet making and installation

Requirements

Proven experience in carpentry, woodworking, or cabinet making Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding construction schematics Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and construction estimating techniques Experience in related fields such as plumbing, electrical work, masonry, or roofing is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks consistently Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team Previous maintenance person experience is advantageous
