, installing high-end custom kitchens and cabinetry in residential and commercial projects. When installation work is not scheduled, the successful candidate will support
shop operations
, assisting with cabinet fabrication, assembly, finishing, and general production tasks.
This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in clean installs, precision work, and craftsmanship, and who is comfortable transitioning between job sites and the shop as needed.
Primary Responsibilities - On-Site Installation
Install custom kitchens, millwork, and cabinetry with precision and attention to detail
Read and interpret shop drawings, layouts, and installation plans
Level, scribe, secure, and align cabinetry to ensure a high-end finished result
Coordinate with site supervisors, designers, and homeowners during installations
Protect job sites and finished surfaces; maintain a clean and professional work area
Identify and resolve on-site issues efficiently while maintaining quality standards
Secondary Responsibilities - Shop Work
Assist with cabinet assembly, box construction, and door/drawer installation
Operate shop tools and machinery safely (table saw, panel saw, edge bander, CNC support as required)
Support sanding, finishing prep, and quality control
Load, unload, and organize materials and completed cabinetry
Maintain shop cleanliness, safety standards, and workflow efficiency
Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience installing
custom cabinetry and kitchens
Strong understanding of cabinet construction, materials, and hardware
Ability to read shop drawings and installation plans accurately
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in cabinet installation
Experience working in a cabinet shop or millwork environment
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Physically capable of lifting and maneuvering cabinetry on site
Reliable, punctual, and professional when representing the company on job sites
Class 5 drivers licence is MUST
Strong English communication skills required to understand drawings, safety instructions, and client/site coordination
