Job Description

Cavupro Ltd. is currently seeking two experienced subcontracted Cabinet & Commercial Millwork Installers in ROSSLAND/TRAIL area to start in August for residential project.

Out of town installers will be considered and accommodation can be provided for successful candidates.

Work Scope:

Installation of cabinetry in multi-family projects (towers, low rise, apartments) and commercial millwork (daycares, retail, lobbies).

Must be proficient in reading and interpreting plans, specifications, and detailed shop drawings

Ability to install according to detailed drawings

Inspect cabinetry for deficiencies and perform touch-ups as required

Report any deficiencies or missing parts required to factory to complete projects

Must be able and willing to maintain a safe, organized work environment and follow all health and safety requirements and complete legislated hazard assessments & toolbox meetings

Handle any potential problems on site and ensure reliable and accurate communication between all team members

Requirements:

Proven experience in cabinetry installation - minimum 5 years of experience

High-level of artisanship and professionalism

Must be organized and on time - ability to prioritize work, multi-task and consistently meet timelines

Fluent in, and able to read and write in, English

Excellent communication and language skills

Must have problem solving skills

Commitment to ensuring each project meets job completion schedule

General Liability Insurance and WCB coverage

Valid Class 5 driver's license

References are required
