The Cabinet Finisher will work closely with other team members to deliver exceptional products that exceed customer expectations.
Duties
Prepare surfaces for finishing by sanding, cleaning, and applying stains or paints.
Operate various power tools and equipment safely and efficiently to achieve desired finishes.
Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements.
Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople during the installation process.
Communicate material, equipment, and tool needs to the Finishing Supervisor.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Lift heavy materials and products as required during the finishing process.
Provide training and direction to employees, ensuring smooth workflow coordination.
Record and analyze production data and metrics.
Work with other departments to ensure timely fulfillment of production goals.
Troubleshoot machinery issues and report required repairs
Skills
3+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, with leadership
experience preferred.
Experience with machinery maintenance, quality checks, and safety compliance.
Experience with
CNC machinery
is advantageous for precision work.
Familiarity with various power tools used in cabinet finishing and woodworking.
Physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods during work hours.
Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality finishes on all cabinetry projects.
