Job Description

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented

Cabinet Designer

to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong design skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a solid understanding of cabinetry, manufacturing, and installation processes. This role involves working directly with clients, preparing accurate drawings and documentation, and supporting the sales and production teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities



Meet with clients to understand their needs, answer questions, and provide design and interior decoration guidance. Create detailed cabinet designs, plans, elevations, and 3D renderings using Mozaik design software. Verify, record, and process all required documents such as plans, sketches, contracts, invoices, and purchase orders. Conduct precise on-site measurements and analyze architectural drawings and site conditions. Prepare quotes, revisions, and design presentations for clients and the sales team. Collaborate with production, installers, and fabricators to ensure designs are feasible and accurate. Review and approve shop drawings, production lists, and installation requirements. Stay informed on design trends, materials, finishes, hardware, and accessories. Troubleshoot design challenges and recommend creative, functional solutions. Maintain organized documentation, project files, and communication records.

Qualifications:



Education & Experience



Diploma or certification in Interior Design, Kitchen & Bath Design, Architecture, or related field. Previous experience designing kitchens, bathrooms, or custom cabinetry (3 years minimum).

Technical Skills



Proficiency with design software such as Mozaik, SketchUp, or similar. Strong understanding of cabinet construction, materials, and installation processes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, architectural plans, and site measurements.

Professional Skills



Excellent communication and client-facing skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Problem-solving skills with the ability to recommend functional, aesthetic, and budget-appropriate solutions. Organized, proactive, and able to work both independently and within a team.
