The Bylaw Officer is responsible for promoting the purpose and objectives of the Enforcement Services Department in a respectful manner.Reporting to the Supervisor, this position works within applicable County bylaws, which includes the Land Use Bylaw, policies, procedures, and select provincial statutes. This position requires experience and extensive knowledge of the application of County bylaws along with strong verbal and nonverbal communication, conflict resolution and critical thinking skills.The Bylaw Officer exercises its authority as a Bylaw Officer and is appointed under the applicable authority of the Municipal Government Act to enforce municipal bylaws.Core Accountabilities
