We are currently looking for a Buyer to join our team. Do you thrive in dynamic environments, enjoy busy days, and take on challenges related to procurement management? In this role, you'll play a key part in coordinating purchasing activities while working closely with internal teams to meet the company's operational needs.

What You'll Do

Plan, organize, and carry out product purchases from local (Canada/USA) and international suppliers; Participate in supplier meetings related to your portfolio to maintain and strengthen business relationships; Contribute to the analysis of surplus and obsolete stock levels across our warehouses to optimize inventory; Evaluate supplier performance in relation to operational goals; Ensure compliance with current procurement policies and processes; Collaborate with other departments to support the development of new products, in line with production timelines and requirements; Work closely with the quality department and suppliers to effectively address non-conformities.

Strong communication and teamwork skills; High level of autonomy and the ability to manage a significant workload; Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities, with a focus on customer service; Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage pressure professionally; Analytical mindset and a solution-oriented approach to procurement and supplier relationships.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or a College Diploma (DEC/AEC) with relevant experience; 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a manufacturing or furniture industry setting; Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written; Good knowledge of ERP systems (SAP is an asset); Proficiency in standard office software tools; Strong interpersonal skills and a sense of accountability.
