Purpose:

Chemetics Inc. (Worley Group) is a diversified technology company that provides design and engineering solutions to the chloralkaline, sodium chlorate, chlorine dioxide, and sulphuric acid industries worldwide. It is a Company with a 60-year history in Vancouver with diverse cultures, talents, and highly skilled professionals. Chemetics operates a specialized alloy fabrication shop in Pickering, ON.



We are currently recruiting for a Buyer. Our team includes world class experts and dynamic go-getters. This is a full-time position based at our fabrication facility in Pickering, ON Canada.

Responsibilities:

The position is Buyer I - Reporting directly to the Purchasing Manager. Functions include purchasing as per Chemetics issued bills of material and to material specifications listed and stock items by sourcing from approved Chemetics suppliers. Purchases need to be compared to budget, and any deviations need to be reported.

What you will bring:

Technical and Industry Experience:

You will bring a minimum of 5 years purchasing or supply chain experience.

Education - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

Required:

Experience expediting orders, completion of material status report for shop reference. Purchasing or Supply Chain from college or university preferred.
