Hybrid | Full-time | Mid Level
Key Responsibilities
Orders supplies for designated ALS global locations;
Obtains price quotes and sourcing of goods;
Expedites supplies and ensuring proper delivery;
Responsible for order confirmation and follow up communication;
Evaluates vendor quote and service to determine most desirable suppliers;
Assists in administration of national vendor contracts;
Maintains positive supplier relationships;
Responsible for purchasing database organization, update, and maintenance;
About you
Organized, detail orientated, highly motivated, and able to work independently;
Demonstrated judgement, creativity, integrity and ability to problem solve;
Well-developed negotiating and dispute resolution skills;
Ability to prioritize work and handle multiple projects;
Excellent computer skills including proficiency with databases, Internet searching, and Microsoft Office suites (Outlook, Word, Excel);
Experience using ERP or MRP software including NAV and Oracle;
Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal);
Able to work in a fast pace and diverse environment;
Good customer service skills;
Second language - Spanish or French an asset.
Required Qualifications
Completion of post-secondary education in supply chain, procurement, or a relevant field, or equivalent experience;
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supply chain or procurement role;
Physical Demands
If required Ability to sit at a desk and do general office work, which includes periodic sedentary responsibilities;
Ability to use and view a computer screen for up to 8 hours per day;
Ability to communicate via telephone and e-mail without assistance.

An estimated hourly pay ranging from $27.38-31.21 at the time of posting. Individual compensation is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training.
