JOB OVERVIEW

This posting is for a temporary position, with a duration of 6 months.

Responsibilities:

Buyer Aspects:*
Prepare purchase orders for material and services in accordance with established corporate guidelines and acquisition procedures Assist the team members, as required for solicitation of quotations, bid evaluations prepare purchase and repair orders and prepare compliance folders Assist with the development of sources of supply for material and services as directed by the Supervisor or delegate Maintain ERP system with vendor updates, including but not limited to quotes, prices, ship dates etc. Liaise with several departments including kitting/integration, production, engineering and finance for supply chain requirements Ensure daily administration of quality related matters with vendors including processing returns, invoice snags and vendor performance

Logistics Aspects:

Liaison amongst the various operations teams as it relates to the logistics flow, in tandem with the logistics and warehousing team as it relates to material handling and/or kitting and kanban management workflows Support key Kitting/Integration team members with regards to the material transactional and/or administrative workflows across the various groups in procurement, component repair, MRE and the warehouse

Qualifications:DEP or DEC from accredited school Experience in supply chain and/or purchasing as well as material management (kitting, kanbans, shortage management) and operations related logistics (parts issue, return, quality evaluations etc) Bilingual is a must A proficiency in Microsoft (MS) Office and the ability to analyse and action various lists of data Capable to handle several tasks, and requests coming from several different departments Must have skills experience for the function in which employed and possess the ability to carry out any work functions as described within Appendix A of the CBA Progression to Administrative Production shall be done based on requirements outlined in Appendix A of the CBA and an associated requisition.

Language Requirements in Quebec:
Intermediate level knowledge of English is necessary for aeronautical personnel to meet regulatory requirements, understand technical procedures and instructions, and document entries regarding work performed on the aeronautical product for customers outside Quebec.
