POSITION HIGHLIGHTS



We are seeking a hard-working, reliable person to join our team as a Buyer/Purchaser. This full-time (permanent) role offers a challenging array of responsibilities. As a key team member, you will be responsible to work with vendors and operations to source parts and materials, establish delivery schedules, monitor progress, and resolve supply challenges. This position offers exciting growth opportunities for a dedicated candidate.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES



Various duties such as Bill of Material to raw materials purchasing Ensuring accurate and timely communication with all internal stakeholders Work in close collaboration with your peers under the supervision of the Procurement Supervisor Follow current procurement policies (PO, internal reporting, follow-ups) Manage lead time to meet project requirements Attend and contribute to post production meetings with the team to improve processes and address issues (continuous improvement process) Maintain various reports/spreadsheets/tracking sheets.

QUALIFICATIONS / JOB REQUIREMENTS



Purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment Above-average computer skills Understanding of inventory systems Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Understanding of procurement practices and processes Oil & Gas heavy equipment experience is an asset

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
