Source Atlantic is seeking a Buyer to support our Western Canadian Branches on an established and growing purchasing team.

Success as a Buyer requires an energetic individual who has a strong desire to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to provide high quality customer service. You must be able to work unsupervised, under pressure and can prioritize, multitask, and meet set deadlines. A strong analytical mind coupled with a positive attitude are keys to achieving success in this role. You must be computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office. A bachelor\'s degree and/or college diploma in business and/or previous experience is required. You must be interested in continuous learning.

In this role you can work at any of our physical locations across Canada. The working hours would be 8am to 5pm CST Monday to Friday.

The Buyer\'s key responsibilities include:

  • Analysis of data
  • Reviewing reports for stock outs
  • Monitoring market pricing
  • Assisting with stock rotations and inventory returns in conjunction with other parts of the business
  • Reviewing order points for inventory stock levels & purchase order placement for 5 western Locations; Transfer Inventory as required.
  • Evaluate procurement methods; replenishment levels and paths
  • NCPAR Management
  • Slow-Moving Inventory Management
