Buyer
YOUR MISSION OF EXCELLENCE

As a Buyer, you will be responsible for purchasing and order tracking of parts, equipment, and supplies to ensure the smooth operation of the company.



WHAT YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH

Follow up on orders, release goods, and follow up with suppliers; Complete requisitions for the purchase of supplies and materials; Validate purchase requisitions; Participate in inventory counts; Create purchase orders in the system; Confirm or obtain pricing from suppliers for goods and services; Make purchases based on internal needs; Maintain up-to-date supplier information; Ensure the purchasing process is followed (negotiation, calls for tenders, obtaining quotes).



THE IDEAL PROFILE

College diploma in procurement or administration, with 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience; Any equivalent combination of education and directly related experience will also be considered; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Experience with SAP or another ERP system (an asset); Proficient in French; Bilingualism to ensure optimal communication with unilingual English-speaking suppliers. Knowledge of logistics, procurement, and inventory management; Knowledge of the steel industry (an asset); Strong team spirit and collaboration skills.
