Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare and issue purchase orders for production and MRO items ensuring alignment with company requirements and market conditions Manage order confirmations, expedite deliveries, and resolve supply issues Proactively communicate vendor or material issues that may impact manufacturing timelines or delivery commitments Communicate/coordinate with the team to ensure timely sourcing and launch of new programs Coordinate the resolution of non-conforming material issues, including supplier follow-ups, returns, RMA processing, and tracking of credits or replacements Support inventory/production planning by maintaining appropriate stock levels Lead cost reduction initiatives through benchmarking, re-sourcing, and negotiation of pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers Perform other duties as assigned or required

Qualifications and Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent ERP system experience is an asset Minimum 3 years experience in purchasing in a manufacturing environment Strong vendor relationship management skills, with experience in negotiating contracts and managing international suppliers. Well-developed communication and analytical skills (Excel), with the ability to interpret market trends and supplier data. High level of planning, organizational, and implementation skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ability to manage multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Monday to Friday
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
