Job Description

The primary role of the Printer /Packer is to operate the printer and packaging equipment and to package and palletize butter according to standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AREAS Production

• Responsible for operating printer and packing equipment.
• Accurately perform line quality checks and record results.
• Loading machinery with packing materials.
• Palletizing and transporting to freezer butter
• Sanitizing of the equipment.
• Ensure the work area and department are clean and tidy after the shift.
• Any other duties that may be assigned.

• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements.
• Food Safety & Quality responsibility as outlined in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other training materials provided and accurate record keeping.

• Adhere to all safety practices and protocols related to job responsibilities and tasks including wearing all appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
• Act in accordance with company policies related to personal and group health and safety practices and procedures.

• Engage in permanent and continuous learning by participating in on-job, internal and/or external training programs. Apply learnings to work environment and role.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement programs such as coaching sessions, sharing of knowledge and skills, and contributing to team efforts to achieve assigned balanced scoreboard goals.
• Contribute to Continuous Improvement with ideas or suggestions for process improvement and streamlining.

• Knowledge of GMPs, including excellent sanitary habits and possess knowledge of HACCP.
• Effectively collaborates with others to achieve area and team goals
• Participate in required meetings, safety discussions, and committees providing input and recommendations.
• Deal with changes, delays, or unexpected events in a calm and timely manner.
