We are a family farm that specializes in local grown meat, dairy, produce. We process our own meat and poultry on site. Our team is looking for hard-working individuals who are passionate about farm-to-table, natural food.

This position requires working in the butcher storefront. A positive and people person attitude is essential to thrive in this position. This position is part time for the first 3 months and will expand to full time within/after.

Strong product sales skills are a must and any meat knowledge is a bonus. Fluent English is a must.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Greet customers and get an insight on what they are looking for to see how you can assist them. Promote Sale Items Preform daily sales of meat, poultry, and grocery items to customers. Ability to open and close store depending on shift. Dependable working on cash register and counting till. Assist with picking and shipping retail/wholesale customer orders. Cleaning and maintaining storefront and ensuring displays and signage are accurate and attractive. Performing quality inspections on meats and other products. Weighing, packaging, pricing, and displaying products. Adhering to food safety and sanitation controls.

Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, lift heavy items, and work in cold environments Strong communication with team members and task management Availability to work a variety of hours, which may include mornings, evenings, and weekends Ability to work independently and in a team environment Attention to detail Effective written and verbal communication skills Basic math skills Time management and problem-solving skills Willingness to learn and/or possesses prior knowledge of meat cuts Reliable transportation and attendance dependability Physical demands: constant moving, talking and standing for at least two consecutive hours. It may involve stooping, kneeling, crouching and carrying up to 50lbs

Pay: From $19.50 per hour
