Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Butcher. This role involves working in a dynamic food industry environment, focusing on food preparation, meat cutting, and ensuring food safety standards are maintained. The ideal candidate will have a passion for quality food handling and customer service, contributing to the production of high-quality meat products and excellent customer experiences.

Responsibilities

Prepare and process various types of meats through cutting, trimming, and packaging according to company standards Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation regulations Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during food preparation Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and storage of meat products Maintain cleanliness of workstations and adhere to food safety protocols at all times Support team members in meeting production deadlines while maintaining quality standards Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and ensuring product quality Follow all health and safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure a safe working environment

Experience

Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, especially in food preparation or butchery Knowledge of meat cutting techniques and proper food handling procedures is highly desirable Familiarity with food safety standards and packaging processes Kitchen experience that demonstrates ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards Prior customer service experience is a plus, emphasizing communication skills and teamwork

Pay: $25.00-$28.18 per hour
