Are you interested in learning the craft of butchery? Freson Bros., an Alberta owned and operated fresh food retail chain, invites you to apply to our Meat Department as a Butcher Apprentice in Hinton, Alberta (Hinton Valley Location).

Qualifications:

Ability to work during peak retail hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Warm and welcoming personality Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds Some experience in the craft of butchery is an asset

Most importantly, the willingness and enthusiasm for continuous learning and development.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Assist butcher team in cutting and wrapping products Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines and procedures Fulfill customer requests and create a positive customer experience Maintain a clean and sanitized work area

Position Details:

Position Type: Part-Time Location: Hinton, AB (Hinton Valley Location) Wage: $15.00 - $18.00 / hour
