Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Busser/Runner to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Located in Kahnawake, the restaurant is open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch, and supper.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring our dining area is clean, organized, and welcoming for guests. As a Busser/Runner, you will assist servers and kitchen staff by maintaining the flow of service and enhancing the overall dining experience.

Duties

Clear and clean tables promptly after guests finish their meals to prepare for the next customers. Assist in setting up tables with appropriate utensils, glassware, and condiments before service begins. Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including sweeping and mopping floors as needed. Help servers with food and beverage delivery to ensure timely service. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate food handling and ensure orders are fulfilled accurately. Support the restaurant's customer service efforts by being attentive to guests' needs and responding promptly to requests. Assist in restocking supplies such as napkins, silverware, and condiments throughout the shift.

Experience

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety standards is advantageous. A positive attitude with a willingness to help others in a team-oriented setting is essential. Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer service.
