Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Runner and Busser to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring smooth food service operations by delivering dishes promptly and maintaining excellent customer interactions. This position offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in the food industry, hospitality, and restaurant service environments. Prior experience in food handling, serving, or hospitality is a plus, but a positive attitude and strong communication skills are essential. The Food Runner will work closely with kitchen staff and servers to provide guests with an exceptional dining experience.

Duties

Deliver prepared food orders from the kitchen to guests' tables promptly and accurately Assist servers with clearing plates, refilling drinks, and resetting tables as needed Ensure all food items meet quality standards before delivery Maintain cleanliness of service areas, including wiping down trays and organizing supplies Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding special requests or dietary restrictions Support the cleaning and sanitation of utensils, dishes, and service stations Provide excellent customer service by being attentive to guest needs and inquiries Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during busy hours

Skills

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Basic cleaning skills to uphold sanitation standards Customer service orientation with a friendly, professional demeanor Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks during busy periods Familiarity with restaurant operations or hotel service is a plus

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour
