Clearing tables after guests have finished, and promptly setting them with clean tableware, flatware, and napkins for the next customers.
Assisting servers:
Supporting servers by refilling water glasses, bringing food to tables, and clearing plates as needed.
Restocking supplies:
Replenishing service stations with necessary items such as linens, glassware, salt and pepper shakers, and condiments.
Cleaning and sanitation:
Keeping the dining area clean and tidy by wiping down tables, chairs, and surfaces, as well as cleaning spills and taking out trash.
General support:
Performing other tasks to ensure smooth restaurant operations, which can include polishing silverware and glassware, and cleaning food service areas
Provide exceptional customer service
: Engaging with guests, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction.
Collaboration
: Communicating with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food presentation.
Uphold standards
: Hygiene and cleanliness in all areas of the establishment.
Skills
Proven experience in cleaning, preferably within the food industry or hospitality sector.
Background in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Experience in kitchen operations or hotel settings is a plus.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills to facilitate teamwork and enhance guest experiences.
