The Automotive Finance Team at Scotiabank is experiencing a massive transformation and growth with constantly evolving digital journeys and disruptions within automotive ecosystem and financing technologies. Is this role right for you?

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand requirements for new projects or system enhancements.
  • Analyze and document current business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and technical solutions.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure the successful implementation and integration of systems and applications.
  • Conduct thorough testing of new systems and enhancements, ensuring they meet business requirements and are free of defects.
  • Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide training and support to end-users to ensure successful adoption of new systems.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?
  • 5-6 years of work experience preferred
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Experience in documenting business processes, requirements, and system specifications.
  • Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and project management methodologies.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools and data analysis techniques is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications in business analysis or related fields are advantageous.
