The Role

Cameco\'s business technology services (BTS) department provides vital services to world-wide operations utilizing a variety of technologies to support key operations. The team strives to standardize and harmonize process and data and incorporate industry-leading practices to deliver business value.

In this role, you will:

  • Work with a team of technical experts to understand the abilities of the applications and optimize their use to deliver value.
  • Maintain existing applications, most with a SQL backend and advancing new cloud-based software applications and solutions within the organization.
  • Support Cameco\'s digital journey by advancing digital technologies from ideas through to implementation
  • Be responsible for user assistance, problem resolution, project and application implementations, as well as system integration.
  • Work directly with business stakeholders to translate business needs to technical solutions while applying best practices in IT security, governance and change management.
Required:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in business, computer science, engineering, or related discipline
  • Three years of relevant work experience
  • Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
  • An aptitude for maintaining and troubleshooting technology and computer applications.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
Recommended:
  • SQL certification
  • Knowledge and experience in software development (use of API\'s)
  • Knowledge of system integration toolkits

You will have the opportunity to work remote in this position. However, there may be the need for intermittent meetings in the Saskatoon office/travel to site (work location). The details of this flex work arrangement will be discussed with you in the recruitment process.
