• Project: IRB Small Business
• RRAE (Retail Risk Analytics Engineering) Team is searching Senior Technical Business Analyst to liaison between business stakeholders and internal engineering and architect teams, ensuring solutions are developed and delivered on time, efficiently and with high quality for various projects within the team.

You will work closely with cross functional teams, including engineers, solutions architects, and business teams to develop and implement market leading solutions that are scalable and deliver excellence, and value to our business partners and customers.

Key Accountabilities:

• Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications
• An expert technical resource for automation, simulation, analysis and testing efforts
• Leverage industry best practices to automate, test, implement and support a solution
• Analyze and review different options for data integration and provide recommendations on the solution
• Manage the traceability of system requirements through design and development, testing, and deployment; ensure the acceptance criteria demonstrates the changes to systems that will meet stakeholder expectations
• Collaborate to evolve DevOps practices to ensure smooth deployment processes, continuous integration, and delivery
• Create technical system documentation, including process flows, use cases, and technical specifications.
• Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment
• Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner

Must have skills:

• 8-10 years of relevant experience required
• 3-5 years of Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python
• 5+ years of experience with SQL
• Experience supporting application databases
• Experience supporting Linux-based systems
• 5+ years of experience testing and validating (QA)
• Experience working with tools like Jira & Confluence.

Nice to have:

• Prior experience working in banking or financial institutions
• Previous experience with Risk Management is highly preferred
• Knowledge of financial instruments
• Understanding of OFSI processes and requirements
• Experience working with GCP is preferred

Soft Skills Required:

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong Problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with the team

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related (technical) degree/diploma

Best VS. Average Candidate:

• The ideal candidate will be an experienced Technical Business Analyst with strong exp working to technical requirements and leading testing results are highly preferred. Having recent exposure to retail credit risk is a very nice to have.

o 1st round with over MS teams with HM and a senior team member - 30mins
o Behavioral and Technical questions based on previous experienc
o Potential 2nd round with HM and Technical Senior team member - in-person / MS Teams - 30 mins
