Project: Mexico Transformation - BAU enhancements relating to Mexico business and FX technologies (back-office enhancements)

Candidate Value Proposition:
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead the back-office transformation fro the Mexico FX business
Typical Day in Role:
Enhancement items that need to be viewed on a regular bases. Management/project will prioritize items and assign to the contractor
Analysis and typical roles for a BSA
Running SQL queries and work with Oracle
Looking at data attributes (related to FX) and ensuring that the data is accurate and complete.
Working on internal enhancements, as well as meeting regulatory/industry requirements (e.g., ISO20022)
Ensuring accuracy of the output generated by the system
Will be working internally with the Mexico Technology team, other BSAs, Developers, as well as with some business users
May undertake some work on the back end using Unix, if able.
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills (in order of priority):
3+ years' back-office experience within FX
5+ years' experience working in a relevant capacity as a BSA
Wallstreet FX: exposure to settlements/payments via SWIFT and CLS, accounting, and confirmations
Professional experience writing and designing SQL queries (intermediate to advanced skills)
Hands-on experience with SDLC (testing and technical specifications), as well as a strong understanding of configurations, technical mappings, data attributes
Soft Skills:
Willingness to learn new things is a key value
Problem solver
Nice to Have Skills:
Working knowledge of Unix
Fluency in Spanish would be an asset
Best vs Average:
FX back-office experience is the top priority when sourcing candidates. The best contractor would have direct FX systems experience. Technical aptitude is important, as well as understanding the software development life cycle.
Degrees or certifications:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
