Key Responsibilities



Lead stakeholder workshops and meetings to gather, validate, and document business and technical requirements.

Translate strategic objectives into measurable user stories, acceptance criteria, and defined business outcomes.

Develop and maintain requirement management artifacts such as traceability matrices, journey maps, and process documentation.

Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain product backlogs and define delivery roadmaps.

Support business case development, ROI analysis, and technical feasibility studies.

Define and manage both functional and non-functional requirements, including performance, scalability, and security.

Conduct gap analyses and lead process improvement or re-engineering initiatives.

Define and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) strategies to ensure solution quality and business alignment.

Create clear visual documentation (e.g., data flow diagrams, process maps, and conceptual data models) to communicate current and target states.

Present findings, recommendations, and solution options to key stakeholders and leadership teams.

Ensure compliance with data privacy, governance, and security standards.

Promote continuous improvement and best practices within data and analytics delivery teams.

Required Qualifications



Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:


Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst translating business requirements into technical specifications.

4+ years of experience developing process diagrams, data flowcharts, and workflow documentation (DFDs, BPMN, etc.).

Proven experience managing stakeholder relationships and effectively communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Experience with information and data management initiatives in enterprise environments.

Demonstrated ability to work closely with business clients and cross-functional teams in an agile setting.

Preferred Skills & Experience



Practical experience working with AI, Machine Learning, or cloud-based data platforms.

Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data integration processes.

Understanding of APIs, data exchange formats (JSON, XML), and Azure Cloud technologies.

Proficiency in BI and data visualization tools such as

Power BI

or

Tableau

.

Experience working in Agile environments using

Azure DevOps

or similar tools.

Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, and data security frameworks.

Exceptional communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
