Job Description

Our office is adding someone to the role of Business Services Coordinator.

This key staff member will communicate daily with clients and the government to help our accountants perform their duties in a timely manner working with small businesses, corporations, trusts and farm clients. You will need to be comfortable asking clients for documents, tracking deadlines and opening and closing government accounts. Additionally, you will need to be able to collect signatures and file returns.

This is not a bookkeeping or tax preparation role. This role has no direct reports, and will work with the entire office.

To be successful in this job, you need to be comfortable talking to clients via email, on the phone and in person.

You need to be able to use a computer and various applications. Finally, you will be able to write a letter or email without the use of AI. This role needs a human touch. We have templates and training for the entire role, but you need to be able to understand and explain the nuance that each client requires. We are a boutique-style firm with a high degree of customization for each client.

This is a Monday to Friday position with hours from 8:45 to 4:45.

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
