Job Summary

As part of the IMO and Data Analytics team, the Business Process Optimization Specialist role is responsible for performing business process analysis in support of the various Business Units and departments, with the objective of finding out how processes can be developed, improved and/or automated across the organization.

This position will need to work closely with the business units and cross functional departments in understanding the processes and systems used by the business and the key pain points that should be addressed as part of the process improvements to develop more efficient and accurate tools to support the day-to-day business.

We are evolving our strategy and looking for a resource that will play a key role within this team in understanding the various components of Targray\xe2\x80\x99s global operations. They will also be collaborating with various teams to suggest innovative approaches, frameworks, and tools to support Targray\xe2\x80\x99s overall Business Strategy Roadmap. Job Responsibilities
  • Understand and gather business requirements for various business unit projects.
  • Design the business process and system requirements for various business units and understand the processes that flow across business units.
  • Interface with IT, Software providers of specialized programs and business users (Operations, Commercial, Corporate) to ensure successful selection and configuration of the tools/modules needed to support the business.
  • Develop and implement with the business owner innovative opportunities to increase productivity and efficiency across the organization.
  • Financial review and business case development for implementation of new processes or technology, as required.
  • Independently carry out complex analysis and evaluate various scenarios for business/process and system configuration changes or implementations, that will support Targray\xe2\x80\x99s Business Strategy Roadmap.
Job Requirements
  • A Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration/Information System, Computer Science, or other Engineering field.
  • Solid computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint), SQL, Business Objects, Python, and Power BI are an asset.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification.
  • Experience in leading new process and solution deployments from a business perspective is an asset.
  • Experience in Business Process Optimization is an asset. Knowledge of master data, logistics, transportation, and AI concepts.
  • 1 year experience Analytics & Business Optimization.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong systems and data mining skills (GP, Power BI, SQL, VBasic, Python, etc.).
  • Solid process mapping skills including BPMN.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Business acumen and technology savvy.
  • Experience in project management methodology.
  • Strong presentation and synthesizing skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and/or in a group setting as required, to create synergy.
  • Highly skilled at creating business requirements documents, use cases, user acceptance test plans, process flow and data flow diagrams.
