The Role:



The Business Operations Manager is responsible for management of the team and oversees the day-to-day operations ensuring efficiency, consistency, and alignment with strategic goals. This is a highly organized, data-driven role focused on execution, accountability, and continuous improvement, with an emphasis on using AI tools to optimize workflows and decision-making.

Working closely with the CEO, the Business Operations Manager will lead the implementation and enforcement of key processes, systems, and standards across the company and work with the team to alleviate any roadblocks the business encounters. They will own company scorecards, dashboards, and internal communication tools, making sure the team stays aligned and informed.

The Business Operations Manager also plays a critical role in solving cross-functional challenges particularly around forecasting, inventory management, e-commerce platform operations (Amazon, Shopify, etc.), and the overall customer experience.

This is a wide-ranging role best suited to someone who thrives in dynamic environments and is excited to use AI, systems, and structure to unlock efficiency at scale.

Responsibilities:



Operational Leadership & Administration



Develop and maintain internal performance systems (dashboards, KPIs, calendars) to ensure cross-team alignment and accountability Own and manage all internal and sales calendars Oversee AP/AR coordination and support financial accuracy across business Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements

Team and Sales Management



Manage and coach team members to meet goals and grow professionally Manage day-to-day workflows and uphold quality standards Support Sales Team operations, reporting, and directly placed orders Lead team meetings, 1:1s, and performance reviews

Inventory Management



Own inventory planning, forecasting, purchasing, and system management across all stages Collaborate with suppliers and logistics for smooth, timely and cost effective inbound/outbound shipments Partner with the Warehouse Manager for production, QC, and fulfillment Occasionally support warehouse operations as needed

Platform Management (Amazon & Internal Systems)



Work closely with the Amazon Listing & PPC Manager to to optimize listings, ads, account/storefront health, compliance and case resolutions Manage and optimize internal systems (ClickUp, IMS, etc) to ensure operational consistency.

Customer Experience



Lead the CX function, ensuring consistent, high-quality service aligned with brand standards Build tools (scripts, templates, scorecards) and handle escalations to support positive customer outcomes

Requirements:



3+ years in business operations or similar leadership role, with experience managing cross-functional teams (warehouse, logistics, support, sales) Direct experience with Amazon Seller Central and Shopify, including listings, optimization, and order flow (Must Have) Strong understanding of organizational effectiveness, process optimization, and operational scaling Experience with inventory planning, forecasting, and supply chain coordination, including 3PLs, freight forwarders, and IMS (Cin7 is a plus) Familiarity with Amazon PPC and ability to collaborate on campaign strategy and performance Skilled in building and managing KPIs, scorecards, and performance dashboards for scaling operations Basic budgeting and cost control knowledge with a focus on operational efficiency Experience with ClickUp or similar project management tools Excellent written and verbal communication skills Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accountable with strong follow-through Proficient with productivity (Google Workspace or Microsoft Office) Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team-first mindset Experience supporting or managing sales teams, including use of CRM tools and KPI tracking Willing to assist with physical warehouse tasks if needed Flexible to occasionally work outside standard hours to support international vendors or warehouse coordination Proactive interest and proficiency in using AI tools to streamline work, improve decision-making, and drive business growth

Compensation:



The typical hiring range for this position is $50,000-$70,000 CAD per annum, pending level and expertise. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
