is Canada's geocaching and adventure headquarters. Since 2006, we've been designing geocoins, trackables, and custom outdoor gear for geocachers worldwide. Our retail and online stores serve a global community of explorers.

Position Summary


The Business Operations Manager will oversee the full production and order fulfillment lifecycle, from initial client interactions through design, manufacturing (offshore) and shipping. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, ensuring operational excellence, timely delivery, cost efficiency, and high-quality standards. You'll manage vendor relations, streamline logistics, and work closely with sales, design, and customer service teams to ensure customer satisfaction. You'll work closely with clients from across Canada, including military, law enforcement, emergency service and corporate communities - so cultural awareness, professionalism, and attention to detail are key.

Key Responsibilities


Lead and support the sales and design teams across Sharkz Coins and Landsharkz
Oversee day-to-day office operations and team workflows
Manage supplier communications, production timelines, and quality control
Handle HR tasks including onboarding, payroll, and staff coordination
Assist with budgeting, invoicing, and administrative reporting
Streamline internal processes to improve efficiency and communication
Coordinate projects between departments to ensure timely delivery
Support retail operations, customer experience, and promotional activities
Provide backup support to the admin and sales team during vacations or absences, maintaining continuity in client communication and order management.

Qualifications:


Proven experience in operations, team leadership, or business administration
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Experience with payroll and basic HR processes
Comfortable using project management and office software
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong knowledge of sales and marketing and/or B2B customer service
Strong understanding of production workflows, logistics, and vendor management.
Basic understanding of art and graphic design
Understanding of Canadian culture and values, with sensitivity to working with military, law enforcement, and first responder communities
Familiarity with (or willingness to learn) Canadian Forces and RCMP rank structures to ensure respectful and informed communication with clients

Preferred Qualifications


Experience working with overseas manufacturers, especially in metal goods or custom products.
Some basic experience with Adobe Illustrator
